Can damage to the neck stunt voice change?

Hi all, im 16 and i’ll be 17 in 2 months. My voice hasn’t really changed to its deepest yet, but it cracks quite frequently. I just remember a couple years ago i hit in the neck. Is it possible that somehow my vocal chords were messed up and that’s why my voice hasn’t changed yet?

I doubt it. You’re just working your way thru puberty. It will all settle down in due time. Patience is a virtue. You must be patient. You’ve got at least 3 more years of growth potential left with some growth spurts along the way.
